Hetronic Operator Control Units (OCU) are based on field-proven NOVA XL platform and customized to meet your specific rail and Locomotive process control operations.. Each custom configured NOVA XL transmitter are matched to the appropriate receiver and can be integrated with our new real-time video feedback and repeaters to extend the safe zone for rail operations. The system has the capability to extend range out to 2 miles with repeaters and battery back-up and could provide virtually 360-degree video coverage around the train.

 Each NOVA XL can be configured with a variety of control options including multi-axis joysticks to paddle levers, switches, push buttons, E-Stop and an LCD or large screen TFT display.  

OPERATOR CONTROL UNIT (OCU)

Offering a wide range of control components including joysticks, paddle levers, switches, push buttons and optional displays, every Hetronic OCU provides the highest level of safety, durability and efficiency. New innovations such as Video Feedback are also available to expand the safe zone for on-the-ground operators of rail equipment.

Hetronic also offers transmitters that are designed for operation of other railway equipment such as ballast cars and tower controls.
